Sea World
It has been quite a while since I posted, but I want to get started again. My kids still say the funniest things. Rick and I took the kids to Sea World for Christmas this year. It was such a wonderful vacation for our family. We arranged to have picnic lunch with Shamu during the afternoon show. It was so great because we sat in reserved seating with perfect views. We were served special lunches before the show that were delicious. Rick, Nick and I had prime-rib sandwiches with pasta and cheesecake. The girls all had a special shamu lunch-box with a hot dog and pack of chips inside. We felt like royalty with special treatment. I really felt like the kids were enjoying their time when Zoe leans over to me and says, "Mama, this is so special." I almost started crying. I thought, she is really getting it. She can see how much we love and care for them that we would go to great lengths so they could have a good time. I looked at her and said, "Yes, Zoe, this is very special." She looked at me with the most beautiful eyes and said, "Yeah, you never let us have chips for lunch at home." So much for that beautiful moment. Kids don't always need grand. Sometimes its the littlest things that touch them.
